The Very Affecting (and Effective) Teaser for ARRIVAL
I’m not sure what it is exactly about this teaser trailer for Arrival, but ever since I’ve seen it, the movie shot up to the top of my Fall 2016 “must-see" list.
There’s something incredibly exciting, engaging, and driving in the footage we see here (even though it is - technically - a “trailer for a trailer", as I hate so much), but I have a very good feeling about this.
The cast is great (Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner), the director is great (Sicario absolutely kicked my ass), and as Interstellar and Contact have proven through the years, I am a sucker for realistic sci-fi premises.
What do you think?
And should I read the book it’s based on, first?
