Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

After what has felt like ages since the original teaser dropped, Sony has finally taken the veil off of the second installment of the Miles Morales Spider-Verse Saga!

The trailer itself builds off of some key moments from — and the score of — the first film, but remains a visual stunner, and has some key frames I’ll definitely be freezing to understand, including a spiral of alternate Spider-Man, and a first look at this version of Spider-Woman.

The first film was one of my favorite theatrical experiences when it released back in  December 2018, so suffice to say, I’m chomping at the bit for the release of this movie. Between gorgeous animation, a stellar voice cast, and it honoring the legacy of my favorite fictional character of all-time, I’m firmly in the audience for this film…even as a 38-year-old man. 😬

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits theaters on June 2, 2023, followed by Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on March 29, 2024.
