A Fantastic First Look at 'Life Itself', A Documentary of the Life of Roger Ebert
Sharing the title of his fantastic autobiography, Life Itself, this forthcoming documentary takes a look at the life and times of arguably the greatest writer about film of all time - Roger Ebert.
The late Ebert passed just over a year ago, and to this day, I think everyone who writes about film owes him a huge debt. I certainly feel his influence when I write about movies, as I try to bring my enthusiasm to the written word, as he so eloquently and effortlessly did over the decades.
Life Itself hits theaters and VOD later this Summer, and will also be broadcast on CNN. I’ll definitely be checking it out.
