Freshly premiered on YouTube, a whopping 18 years after the original trilogy ended, we now have a look at the unexpected fourth installment of The Matrix — The Matrix Resurrections.

Clearly, some things have changed from when we last saw Neo and crew.

Why is Neo (Keanu Reeves) taking blue pills? Why doesn’t Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) recognize him? How’d he end up back in the Matrix? What’s with Young Morpheus (played by Watchmen’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and hell yeah, look at Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist) getting more work!

What I can say is that Lana Wachowski is bringing her incredible eye for visuals and innovative action to the forefront, as this looks absolutely gorgeous and incredible.

Bring on December 22nd. Theaters, HBO Max, wherever I gotta go, I’m there for this one.
