The Playlist:

Yesterday, we reported that Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Wes Anderson, was about to set up shop in France to film his next, as-yet-untitled, film. All that we knew at the time was that the film was going to shoot in the French area of AngoulÁªme and will be set post-World War II. We jokingly suggested that the film would, of course, feature all the whimsy and humor that his films up to this point have had. Little did we know just how much whimsy.

According to a report by French outlet Charente Libre, Anderson’s upcoming film is said to be a musical. That’s right, Wes Anderson faithful, the director is prepping a post-WWII French musical.

Well, that’s the most Wes Anderson possibility. Perfect.
