Discovered by a poster over at the Xbox One subreddit, provided this is legit (I’m guessing the poster must work for a game store of some type), it looks like we’ll be hearing about a brand new installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise any day now.

Personally, I’d love to see a new MK, the 10th installment in the series. The last one, titled simply Mortal Kombat, was an absolutely fantastic game, which did a wonderful job of melding generations of the franchise in one great fighter.  Of particular note, was the great story mode, which was further improved in last year’s great Injustice DC Comics fighting game.

If I had to put money down, I’d say we’ll hear more about this at E3 next month - which runs June 10-12.
