In this post Pacific Rim world, the one thing I want more of is giant monsters exploding things. And if robots can stop them? That’d be awesome.

While we have nothing on the radar for the latter, the former is definitely happening as Summer 2014 brings the release of Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures Godzilla remake, directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters).

This weekend at San Diego Comic Con is supposed to be the beginning of the huge marketing push for the film, and in turn, an exclusive teaser poster will be released.  Outsourced to the fine team at Mondo, who got the artisans of Phantom City Creative to turn out a striking, eye catching design, this is the first official piece of marketing material for the film featuring the giant, angry lizard.

Of course, prints will be for sale at Mondo’s booth at SDCC starting on Friday, July 19th. The print at the top is 24"x36", limited to a run of 275, and will be $45.

For those wanting something a little more unique, the variant (below) is limited to a run of 100 for $70.
