One of the most intriguing films coming out next year, in my eyes at least, is the early spring release of Oz The Great And Powerful.

With an eclectic cast including James Franco as the titular Oz and the trio of Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams as the Witches, this is certainly one of the more unique groupings behind a Disney tent pole.  Add Sam Raimi’s return to big budget filmmaking after the Spider-Man Trilogy, and you have the makings for either a masterpiece or a massacre.  The first trailer grabbed me with its insane Technicolor visuals, and the same continues here, but I can’t help but get a Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland vibe - and I enjoyed the film more than most.  You can click play to watch the new, longer trailer below.  I am apprehensive, but still positively looking to the film. Maybe you’ll feel the same.  A full series of stills also appears in the gallery below.
