As I’ve featured many times in the past on this here blog, there are few companies working on the level of Hot Toys when it comes to high end nerd collectables.  And now that they’re producing figures based on the 1989 Tim Burton Batman film, they’ve pretty much sealed the deal as being basically the best figure creators of all time.

…all time!

Showcasing the beautiful sculpts, impeccable paintjobs, smart accessories and just all around amazing awesomeness that has made Hot Toys one of the top creative toy forces in the world, their new Batman and Joker figures are just jawdroppingly great.  It’s as if someone shrunk the Keaton and Nicholson of 1989 and mass produced armies of them to hang out in peoples houses.

However, as always, this level of perfection comes with a cost - Sideshow Collectables has imported both figures as usual, but they’re gonna cost ya.  Batman can be yours for $240 and Joker, with his more impressive costuming, will be $265.  Add an extra $10 to pick up a copy of the amazing Prince Batman soundtrack and you’ve got over $500 in the mix…but really, can you put a pricetag on such enjoyment?

I’ve included a full gallery of both figures below, so check it out!
