Announced today by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, the new Mortal Kombat will take the game back to  it’s 2D roots (a’la Street Fighter IV), returns the title to it’s M rated state after that Teen rated DC game, and includes Online gameplay, tag-team fighting, and even co-op storyline modes!

Not exciting enough? Here’s the BRAND NEW trailer for the game!  The bizarre x-ray shots are an interesting addition to the game, but my god - it’s Mortal Kombat! Inner 11 year old is PSYCHED.
