I love how ThinkGeek is constantly trying to invent new consumer goods for their super-nerd customer base, but honestly, this may be one of the strangest ideas yet, so much so that I had to make sure it wasn’t April 1st and this wasn’t one of their amazing April Fools Day products.

Behold the Brick Construction Shirt. Essentially, it’s your basic black t-shirt, but attached to the chest is one of those giant construction block base plates, which you can then build your latest creation upon.  Not just for Lego fans, the shirt also accommodates PixelBlocks, Mega Bloks and K’NEX Bricks.  Either way, I’m just confused at how uncomfortable it must be to wear, especially on a warm day, and then how awkward it must be to walk around with your new TIE Fighter set extended from your torso.

Even with that said, I honestly anticipate seeing dozens of these things over the 2010 convention season. For $18, it can be yours. Nerd it up, nerdlingers.
