Thus far, the creative output of John Frances Daley and Jonathan Goldstein has been somewhat of a mixed bag.

They co-wrote Horrible Bosses, Horrible Bosses 2, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and both wrote and directed the recent Vacation reboot.

This coming March, Daley and Goldstein are back in the director role, as they bring us Game Night.

Headlined by Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams, the movie seems to posit the idea of a comedic version of the 90’s David Fincher classic The Game, as a group of friends take their regular game night to a very, very dark level.

I know, this doesn’t sound great, but upon seeing the trailer, this looks like this could be darkly hilarious, and I’m game to see Rachel McAdams get more work, beyond her thankless roles in the Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Strange franchises.

Either way, I’m in to MoviePass it.

Game Night hits theaters on March 2, 2018.
