Way back, in the early 1990s, long before your Facebooks and your iPhones and your Yahoo!, Marvel Comics took a big step into the future with a series of comics set in the far flung year of 2099.

Now, with less than 85 years to go, Marvel returns to the era’s flagship character, Spider-Man 2099.

Having found himself stuck in the present, thanks to the Superior Spider-Man, the new series, written by original writer Peter David with art by Will Sliney (Fearless Defenders).
