Given that the Batman franchise is one of Warner Bros Interactive’s most lucrative releases, it perhaps should come as no surprise that with the October release of Batman: Arkham Origins that they’re gunning for the collector’s market with a limited edition release.

That said, at least you’ll be getting your money’s worth.

While the collector’s edition will run you a hefty $120, the set is packed with the following goodies:

  • A copy of Batman: Arkham Origins (of course)
  • A 9" Joker Statue
  • An 80 page hardcover artbook
  • 2 pieces of replica "evidence"
  • A Batman "Wanted" poster
  • A Batwing prototype schematic
  • An Anarky logo stencil (for the fans of the 90's villain, who appears in the game)
  • A photo of the Wayne family (creepy)
  • A glow in the dark map of Gotham City
  • An Assassin's Intel Dossier
  • A copy of Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics (DVD for 360 Players, Blu-ray for PS3)
  • Plus, the following DLC: a First Appearance Batman skin (look how he did in 1939!), a Deathstroke Challenge pack (allowing you to play as Deathstroke, a'la the Robin and Nightwing packs for Arkham City), and for PS3 users only, the Knightfall pack, which allows you to play with content based on the storyline that broke Batman's back and replaced him with a crazy person in an armored suit.
Pre-orders for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions are available now, with the collector's edition hitting shelves alongside the regular edition on October 25th.
