In an awesome announcement this morning from Tamashii Nations, who have done an amazing run of figures under the S.H. Figuarts line in Japan, it’s been made official - they are releasing a two pack of hyper articulated Daft Punk figures.

While the details are still early, we do know that the figures will release sometime in November, and vendor Bluefin should be bringing them to the US, much as they have the other figures in the line, which has included characters from Power Rangers, Dragonball-Z, Kamen Rider and Gundam, among many many others.

Here’s the formal write up with all the details we have at this time:

Release date: November 2013 Total height: approx.15cm Price: TBA

Appropriately timed with the group’s new album announcement and supervised by the artists themselves, high-end action figures of Daft Punk have been confirmed for release under the S.H.Figuarts advanced action figure series from Bandai Japan’s premium collector’s label, Tamashii Nations! The total figure height is approximately 15cm, and as with all S.H.Figuarts figures, these Daft Punk figures feature precise articulation for recreation of a variety of poses. The helmet areas will feature a shiny metallic finish for enhanced realism.

Yeah, I don’t know about you, but my nerdshelf is definitely getting a set of Tom and Guy-Manuel.
