Here’s one that I didn’t really expect, but given that it’s a cult film by a fan favorite director and based on a comic book, I should have expected this, as Mondo has announced their next poster will be for Swamp Thing.

The poster seems to take more a cue from Swampy’s later Alan Moore-era than the shlocky Wes Craven film, but honestly, I feel that’s for the best.  Masterfully illustrated by Florian Bertmer, the poster will come in both a standard and glow in the dark variant flavors, and goes on sale at a random time tomorrow.

The regular edition appears at the top of this post, and is a 24"X36” print limited to an edition of 230, for $45.

The variant (above), features glow in the dark and metallic inks, limited to a run of 90 prints, for $80.

Good luck, Mondo hunters, this really is one of the nicer prints they’ve released for an odd choice of film. I’m not sure if any print will better represent the Mondo mentality than this.
