If you're a big arcade gamer from the early 90's, that wonderfully engrish laden post title should be enough to get you excited.

But for those of us who aren’t quite getting it, I’ll cut to the chase.

The classic, and downright amazing for it’s time, six player X-Men arcade game from 1992 by Konami will be coming to XBox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network.

Unique because of it’s six player cabinet (although in some locations, a 4-player cabinet was available), this X-Men game has never been available for home systems, and unless you’re lucky enough to have a machine near you, hasn’t been played regularly by gamers in nearly twenty years.

That’s all going to change with this downloadable only release, where the only changes being made are the addition of online co-op (for up to 6 players) and adjustable difficulty.

No release date is set at this time, but if you’re like me, you cannot WAIT to play funky, 80’s styled Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler!

This release was officially announced at New York Comic Con this weekend, to (understandably) much yelling and excitement.

Now if only they could port the Simpsons arcade game…
