If you’ve been to a major comic convention over the past few years, you’re most likely quite familiar with the work of Toon Tumblers.
A series of drinking glasses designed by PopFun Merchandising, they take your standard pint glass and throw classic comic imagery on it, adding a taste of nerd to your morning OJ, afternoon coke, or evening beer.
I’ve generally been able to maintain the strength to not purchase the glasses.
Then I saw the set they had lined up for release sometime this month…
YEP! LANTERN DRINKING GLASSES!
I want…nay…need these.
Not just to own a quality set of glasses, oh no, these also make a great party game, as you assign Lantern qualities to your friends!
Have someone who kirks out once they get a bit of booze in them? Give’m the Red Lantern glass!
Have someone who becomes a bit too touchy-feely with the hooch? Blue Lantern all the way!
And for those who seem to pass out immediately, revive them with a drink from the Black Lantern glass.
No idea on pricing yet, but they will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine.
