So earlier in the summer, David Cross announced he had shot a pilot for UK television network Channel 4 (where Spaced started, for those keeping track at home).  The oddly titled project, The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret was written by and stars David Cross, and up until now, we’d had no idea what the show is about.

Turns out the series is about Todd Margaret (surprise!), a temp played by David Cross, who finds his way into selling energy drinks in the UK. The issue – he has to sell THOUSANDS of drinks in a week.

The pilot episode aired in the UK last week (November 27th, to be exact), and the opening scene, also starring Will Arnett and Spike Jonze, has made it’s way to YouTube, setting up the plot for the series. It is hysterical, and ENTIRELY Not Safe For Work, on naughty language alone.

While the episode in full is on Channel 4′s On Demand website, it’s currently UK only. I now know how the overseas folks feel about Hulu.

Here’s hoping The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret makes it’s way back across the pond.

Just days after releasing the super awesome first teaser poster for Iron Man 2, which left me all kinds of tingly, Marvel Studios/Paramount have released the International poster to the awesome folks at Empire.

This poster, unlike the typical international posters which are a minor change from the US, actually takes a very different approach to pushing the flick.

No War Machine. No Helmet. Just Tony in the armor.

I wonder what, if anything that says about the American audiences tastes.  Are we less excited about Downey and more hyped for twice the stuff blowing up courtesy of robot suits?

Either way, it’s another great poster, which is nice after the kinda lackluster posters for Iron Man 1.  One last thing to note – the prominent Marvel Studios logo. I think we’re going to start to see that far more.

This piece is beyond badass.

Drawn by DeviantART user Xiaobaosg, this image depicts a Samurai Styled version of Mario battling Bowser, done in the style of a Japanese woodcut print.

More than anything though, I’m left wanting more.  If Nintendo is watching, I’d like to suggest the following…could we get a timeline spanning Mario game where he travels through alternate realities, each with a unique art style, and possibly modified gameplay?

I figure since we’ve gone from Mario Land to World to Galaxy, the only true next jump is into timelines, and this would be an amazing way to do it.

Balls in your court, big N.
