Milk Men – A Mad Men Parody

With last night’s 3rd season finale of Mad Men, I’ve been reduced to a very lost pile of man, unsure what to do with himself until the 4th season premiere sometime in 2010.

Luckily, the internet has stepped up with the glimpse of another (fake) series.

Taking a look at another traditional 60′s field in a way previously unseen in ANY form of media, I present the above trailer for….Milk Men.

After years of delays, the modern remake of The Wolfman starring Benecio Del Toro is finally ready to hit theaters.  We’ve already had a look at the pretty rad trailer earlier in the fall, but to continue the hype train proper, we now have the above posters (which, of course, you can click for larger versions).

Using a stark black and white feel, they induce a feeling of dread which isn’t really seen with the posters you have for things like…Saw per se.

The Wolfman is due to finally hit theaters on February 12th, 2010.

…cause I sure didn’t!

Granted, I wasn’t the biggest fan of 30 Days of Night when it hit theaters a few years back, but I know some people REALLY loved it.

So I guess it’s cool to share that the next graphic novel in the series, Dark Days, will be getting translated onto the silver screen.

Now, granted that the only character returning from the first is Stella Oleson, and Melissa George isn’t returning to play the role (Kiele Sanchez is taking over for her), and the rest of the cast seems to be made of actors I’ve never heard of/TV actors, I can’t help but feel that this might be a direct to DVD sequel.

Either way, 30 Days of Night fans, get excited, as here’s your first image from the flick, with Stella Oleson getting all knifey.

There are few things I enjoy more than when a movie shoehorns in an awkward titular line.  I find this isn’t something that many people look for in films, but I always giggle when a particularly lengthy movie title shows up in the middle of dialogue.

Heck, there was even a great Upright Citzens Brigade sketch about a man who claimed to have the titular line in many classic films.

Never the less, it seems I’m not the only one who loves these lines, as someone over at Videogum has made a great video compilation of these great titular lines.

Click play and enjoy!
