Oh, France, you’ve given us so much.

Delicious baguettes, beautiful women, an amazing tower, our own Statue of Liberty, Parkour, an argument for public healthcare…

And yet you continue to deliver, now with an exclusive behind the scenes look at IRON MAN 2!

This is a much more newsworthy piece than the Entertainment Tonight fluff piece a few weeks ago, as it gives more an idea of plot, and glimpses at some very interesting scenes (Is that BLACK WIDOW wearing a REPULSOR GLOVE?!).

Either way, it’s enough to send fanboys like me into a frothing furvor. Click to play and enjoy.

Sorry for the hold up in posts.  Between recovery from Super Art Fight 5 and other things going on, I had been particularly busy.

Now that I’m officially ranked as an “award nominated” blogger, I thought it’d would be appropriate to return with a post that best holds my strengths.

So, everyone’s familiar with the popular Christian values pushing CGI series VeggieTales, right?

Seems they decided to make a cookie cutter of the main heroes, Bob & Larry, seen above.

Of course, they probably should’ve rethought the shape.  Turn that sucker sideways and…

heh heh. dinger.

So remember, next time your bachelorette party needs some ultra classy cock cookies, look to the Christian values of VeggieTales!

In what I feel like is going to be start of a series, I’m going to highlight a really cool thing I found on the internet that I’d like to buy.

Today’s item – Cucos from Kid Robot.

This mini figure series designed by Patricio Oliver is made up of a really screwed up batch of children lead by the “Cursed Twins”.  Each 3-inch mini figurine seems to mix equal parts adorable and disturbing horror, and generally, is something I’d like on my nerd-shelf.  The gallery below features an image of each figure.  I especially like the dude in the gas mask.

The figures are (of course) blind boxed, and will be available for $9.95 each starting October 22nd.

Something tells me that I’m going to be at my local awesome vinyl toy dealer later this month…

One of the most anticipated films of this Holiday season has to be The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Directed by Terry Gilliam and featuring the final performance of Heath Ledger, with his scenes completed by Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law (you’ll understand), the film looks to be an absolute surreal fairy tale acid trip.  And luckily, it won’t be too long before it hits theaters.

Either way, Yahoo! got the exclusive trailer, which I’ve embedded above.  You better believe I’ll be there on Christmas Day when it releases.

This past weekend, the Woody Harrelson starring undead opus Zombieland hit theaters, and I think it’s safe to say, it’s probably, to me at least, one of the most fun movies this year.

Reveling in a fun world where the Zombie apocalypse has become more an annoyance than a detriment, it was a shot in the arm to the tired Zombie genre, making for possibly the best film of that style since Shaun of the Dead.  All I know for sure was I loved every minute of it.

And it seems that audiences took to it as well, with Zombieland taking the #1 spot at the box office, making $25 Million.

Luckily for all these new Zombieland fans, ideas for a sequel have already been tossed around. Infact, ideas for ELEVEN sequels exist.

See, Zombieland was originally pitched as a TV series, and the film script combined the first two episodes into one theatrical script.  And since the creative team had an entire 24 episode season planned, we may just see those ideas appear in multiple sequels to follow.

Should there be 12 Zombielands? I don’t think so. But I surely want to see another adventure with Columbus, Tallahassee and the gang. Sony, let’s give this a shot. But not 11 of them.

With the deluge of trailers, which culminated in a 5 minute sequence airing on something like 30 networks at the same time last week, I think it’s safe to say that everyone is aware of Roland Emmerich’s latest disaster-rama 2012.

And I think it’s really safe to say that people aren’t looking forward to the flick to see the effects, but rather take in some solid, Oscar caliber acting.

Luckily, some intrepid YouTube user took the 5 minute teaser clip from last week, and cut out all those useless effects, leaving us with nothing but Shakesperian level acting from John Cusack and Amanda Peet.

You can just SMELL the awards!

Ever wonder what it would be like if your favorite heroes from the four-color funny books from DC and Marvel had Facebook accounts?

Worry no longer, as Chris Sims has created some example statuses from this alternate reality Facebook, and it seems it would suck just as hard for them as it does for us.

Again, the internet delivers, combining one of my favorite standup routines with one of my childhood playthings, in this interesting mashup of the insanity of Eddie Izzard alongside the joyful glee of stopmotion animation by way of Lego figurines.

Enjoy!
