Coming nice and early this morning is a look at the latest teaser poster from ABC for the final season of their flagship time-shifting sci-fi island drama LOST.

What’s really interesting is how this harkens back to the original series poster (shown below), and not only shows how much the cast as grown, but indicates how the series is fading to black, so to speak.

Of course, I imagine what the Lost diehards will be focusing on are the weird ruinic symbols which appear in the phrase “THE FINAL SEASON”, as they decipher what, if anything, the creators are trying to tell us.

Lost returns for it’s final season this January.

I think it’s safe to say that Mad Men has officially hit a level of cultural significance.

No longer toiling as the tiny cable program that could, with millions of viewers and Emmys under their belt, it’s time for the time tested approach of merchandising the crap out of it.

So, of course, the first item out of the gate (outside of the lovely DVD & Blu-Ray sets) is a damn fine suit from the folks at Brooks Brothers.

It’s an absolutely solid suit, which I think a certain award-nominated blogger would look great in, but the ticket price of $1000 is probably going to keep it out of my closet.

The suits are limited to an edition of 250, and will be available starting October 19th.

Yesterday, Captain Lou Albano passed away at the age of 76.

A legendary pro-wrestling manager, the man who was in part responsible for the “Rock & Wrestling Connection”, and best known by this generation as the live action version of Super Mario, he will be missed.

So I thought it’d be worth sharing a classic video of his antics as Mario.

In this clip, Cap’n Lou is supposed to be doing a short PSA about kids not doing drugs. Evidently, the world of Pro Wrestling hasn’t left him as he ends his PSA with possibly the most horrifying final line in anti-drug PSA history.

Enjoy!

Oh, France, you’ve given us so much.

Delicious baguettes, beautiful women, an amazing tower, our own Statue of Liberty, Parkour, an argument for public healthcare…

And yet you continue to deliver, now with an exclusive behind the scenes look at IRON MAN 2!

This is a much more newsworthy piece than the Entertainment Tonight fluff piece a few weeks ago, as it gives more an idea of plot, and glimpses at some very interesting scenes (Is that BLACK WIDOW wearing a REPULSOR GLOVE?!).

Either way, it’s enough to send fanboys like me into a frothing furvor. Click to play and enjoy.

Sorry for the hold up in posts.  Between recovery from Super Art Fight 5 and other things going on, I had been particularly busy.

Now that I’m officially ranked as an “award nominated” blogger, I thought it’d would be appropriate to return with a post that best holds my strengths.

So, everyone’s familiar with the popular Christian values pushing CGI series VeggieTales, right?

Seems they decided to make a cookie cutter of the main heroes, Bob & Larry, seen above.

Of course, they probably should’ve rethought the shape.  Turn that sucker sideways and…

heh heh. dinger.

So remember, next time your bachelorette party needs some ultra classy cock cookies, look to the Christian values of VeggieTales!
