This past weekend, the world was introduced to another iconic Pixar character in Carl Fredricksen, the lead of Up.
In probably the coolest tribute to the world’s for-most senior citizen adventurer, Pixar staffer Angus MacLane has created a Lego version of Carl. Mr. MacLane is best known as the director of the short Burn-E, and one of the best parts of the “Geek Track” audio commentary on Wall-E. He’s also apparently quite the Lego builder, with his entire Flickr account being dedicated to his custom creations, full of familiar Pixar faces.
