I’ve never watched Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Sure, I hear it’s an amazing series, but I’ve never had the time to sit down and watch it back to front.  Now that I’m facing some free time over the summer, I’ll take the moment to do so.

Never the less, that hasn’t stopped the live-action movie version from kicking into high gear!  The movie version, dropping the front part of the title (Thanks, Jim Cameron!), is titled The Last Airbender and is being put together right now by love him or hate him director M. Night Shyamalan.

There was a blow-up online about how the casting of a film made up of mostly Asian cast members was being by far and large whitewashed, but now that production is finished, all we have to go on is the final product.  And the image above is our first look at the lead, Aang, thanks to USA Today.

The first trailer is scheduled to be attached to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and honestly, as a non-fan, I can’t really determine my feelings about it.  So I turn to you readers….what do you think?

The web is full of dozens of movie review sites.

Some good, some bad. Some with a unique perspective. Some who could easily be replaced. Hell, even I write reviews now. (Thanks, b!)

But this is possibly the best movie “review” site of all time.

I give you RunPee.com, a site dedicated to telling you, the viewer, when during the theatrical showing it’s appropriate to ride the yellow tide.

Worried you’re gonna miss the big plot reveal due to your blatter? Check out RunPee.com before you hit the theater…and be prepared.  No longer can those jumbo sodas ruin your experience during the next 3 and a half hour fantasy epic.
