iPod Touch: Meet Your Enemy – ZUNE HD!
Wow, MS ain’t effing around with this one.
After trailing Apple for about 3 years now with their Zune portable music player, Microsoft has made a solid blow at the defenses of the Mac Cultist Empire with the unveiling of the Zune HD.
Their counterpoint to the wildly-popular iPod Touch, the Zune HD boasts many features against the standard Zune series, including a multi-touch screen, HD video output, HD radio tuning abilities, and a connection to the XBox 360, which will be revealed next week at E3. (Hear that? A shit ton of gaming stories are coming.)
No pricing or capacity information has been revealed for the new Zune, but you can rest assured we’ll all know about it by the time this new player is released in the Fall.
That reminds me…do Zunes work on macs yet?

ANCHORMAN 2…Will It Be A Bad Choice?
Hands down, there are few funnier experiences in my life than when I saw Anchorman in theaters.
Probably the movie that really put the “Apatow Crew” on the map, I’m amazed to find that to this day, lines from the film can put me in hysterics.
But of course, since we can never get enough of a good thing, Will Farrel, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Adam McKay are having a meeting next week to discuss the possibility of Anchorman 2.
Personally, I think the tales of Ron Burgundy are best left to the past, but knowing that it’s the original crew behind the film meeting to discuss the idea of a sequel, as opposed to Hollywood suits pushing a deal for the sequel.
Anchorman 2 for Summer 2011? I guess we’ll see.

Here’s a weird one!
Apparently the rights holders for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise are looking to move forward with a new movie version of the character, this time without the writing (and related universe) created by Joss Whedon.
Now, let’s ignore the fact that this is another retarded instance of the remake crazy suits in Hollywood missing the fact that they can release a film with a similar concept without using the name of an established franchise.
Instead, I’d like to address the fandom raging at a Buffy project moving forward without Whedon.
…you guys ever think that maybe, just maybe, Whedon was asked about this project? And he doesn’t want to do it?
It’s bad enough that a second season of the dull Dollhouse is due to hit Fox this year, right after Whedon talking about how he’d rather do more original projects in the vein of Dr. Horrible…
But you dudes really want him to write a movie about characters who’s story he finished five years ago?
Food for thought.

First Image From M Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender
I’ve never watched Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Sure, I hear it’s an amazing series, but I’ve never had the time to sit down and watch it back to front. Now that I’m facing some free time over the summer, I’ll take the moment to do so.
Never the less, that hasn’t stopped the live-action movie version from kicking into high gear! The movie version, dropping the front part of the title (Thanks, Jim Cameron!), is titled The Last Airbender and is being put together right now by love him or hate him director M. Night Shyamalan.
There was a blow-up online about how the casting of a film made up of mostly Asian cast members was being by far and large whitewashed, but now that production is finished, all we have to go on is the final product. And the image above is our first look at the lead, Aang, thanks to USA Today.
The first trailer is scheduled to be attached to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and honestly, as a non-fan, I can’t really determine my feelings about it. So I turn to you readers….what do you think?
