In the world of film, there is no greater award or accolade than the Oscar. But every positive needs to have a negative, right?
That’s where the Razzies come in.
The Razzies are all about awarding (or publically humilating?) the worst that the world of film has to offer. And while I feel that 2008 might have just been one of the best years of motion picture this decade, there sure was (apparently) a lot of crap.
Just beyond the cut, I have listed this years nominations. I’m kind of surprised by some of the selections (I really enjoyed Speed Racer), but some aren’t a surprise in the least (Fuck you, Meet the Spartans! But hey, any awards show dedicated to pointing out how much Hollywood is ruining things with remakes and sequels ahoy gets a thumb’s up in my book. View full article »
